You thought losing your luggage was the worst thing that could happen at the airport? Taron Egerton begs to differ. The Rocketman and Kingsman star is taking on his next assignment: Carry-On. In the new thriller, Egerton plays Ethan Kopek, a TSA agent who’s blackmailed by a mysterious traveler, inducing perhaps the most airport anxiety ever.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (who’s no stranger to airplane danger: He previously directed the Liam Neeson action flick Non-Stop), Carry-On marks the first collaboration between Netflix and Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Partners, a partnership that was announced in 2021.
